Gospel Baptist Church is a warm and friendly place where you will find people from all over the world. In our services you will have an opportunity to hear very practical teaching that will not just answer your questions, but will enable you to live the abundant life that God has intended. Jesus said, “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). We believe that our primary purpose in life is to glorify God, and that when He is appropriately honoured, we will be blessed.
What is a Baptist church?
Like most Baptists, we are Christians first, Baptists second. But, being Baptists does set us apart. As Baptists, we believe the Bible is the authority on which all other beliefs stand. We also believe that salvation is a transformative event accessible only through the finished work of Jesus Christ. Concerning where we get our name, we affirm that all believers should be baptized after salvation as a demonstration to the world of their faith in Christ. Additionally, we believe that each believer is a priest and can come directly to God with Jesus as their only mediator and each believer has the right to think through the Bible with the Holy Spirit and no one can tell them what they must believe.
